Power cats are stable and easy to propel. The extra-large cockpit, molded steps to either side deck and molded stairs to the flybridge protected by 1” molded stainless railings create a sense of safety wherever you are on the boat.
Boarding the boat is easiest via the large swim platform to the cockpit. Entering the main cabin, which is quite expansive, with large windows, creates a sense of being aboard a much larger vessel. The interior has mahogany-stained trim with matching laminate counters, off-white vinyl wall and ceiling coverings, carpeted soles and LED lighting throughout.
Just inside the companionway, to port, is a drop-down table with two chairs. It is easy to imagine this is the perfect spot for a meal, a jigsaw puzzle or game of cards, or the inevitable boat project. The TV/DVD/entertainment center, storage drawers and cubbies line the wall. Forward on the port side is a chart table and chart storage.
Across from the table, to starboard, is an L-shaped settee with storage below and matching mahogany laminate table with a removable lid for additional storage. Forward is the linear galley: the sink, three burner propane Wedgewood by Atwood stove and oven, and storage drawers are covered by a hinged counter surface. The GE Microwave is securely located on a shelf just forward.
The main helm station with a two-person bench seat is centerline with all controls and navigation equipment within easy reach. The Nova Kool refrigerator with small freezer is located below the bench seat as is pull out storage for dishes or pantry items.
This model is a two-stateroom layout. Forward of the galley area on the starboard side is the guest cabin which may be set up for separate side-by-side bunks or converted to a very large double. Drawers below and a hanging locker provide space for guest storage. A large open storage compartment in the bow of the starboard hull is accessed via a small door.
The port hull compartment is accessed via three steps: aft under the chart table is the head compartment with a sink, separate shower, electric vacu-flush toilet and ample storage. Forward is the main cabin with a large athwartships berth which measures 54” x 75”, vanity, drawer and hanging locker storage. Access to the bow storage and anchor chain locker is via a small hatch door.
