Broker's Comments
Boatshed Ireland are pleased to offer this excellent Van de Stadt Caribbean 40 for sale.
Should you wish to purchase a yacht to take you Blue Water Cruising, I'm not sure you will find a more practically fitted-out one for sale in these islands. The present owner commissioned her build with a circumnavigation in mind and she has taken him safely to the Arctic Circle, deep into the Southern Ocean and most places in between. Everything has been considered down to the smallest item ... decisions and refinements were made based on experience and time spent on the ocean. Not a lot would need to be done to get her ready for her next journey. She does need some new paint on the hull and topsides, but she has the advantage of good sails and a great nav package. She is not the most luxuriously appointed yacht, but has lots of volume below decks due to her carvel curves, and a lovely saloon full of character. We would be delighted to take your call should you like any further information. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
