Broker's Comments
The Tyler Vortex design with its 'air entrapment' hull shape takes a Nelson-style boat and gives her extra stability at displacement speed and also the ability to plane at just 13 knots.
Generally pilot boats and patrol vessels they have extensive D fenders, internal guard rails, 10mm thick windows and lots of other features to make them truly seagoing
Unlike all her sisters this particular vessel was originally built and fitted out for pleasure cruising and so has an unusual but very workable interior layout with a galley aft one side and workshop and storage the other, upper saloon sharing the wheelhouse and then berths and a lower saloon forward.
Her first owners cruised extensively in their 16 years of ownership however she's been ashore for a while and so would benefit from some paint and varnish but in general she appears in good order and well equipped. She has lots of headroom and ample storage so would make a great liveaboard or long term cruiser but with those sleek lines she'd be equally at home as a weekend powerboat, she certainly turns heads!
