Broker's Comments

Trappers have a justifiable reputation as good all-round sea-boats. In their time they were at the fore-front of sail cruising too, with accommodation that was generous, coupled with an enviable build quality. The solid construction still shines through, thirty-five years later. This is a solid, well made boat, with a heavy hull lay-up and lots of wooden trim down below. The cockpit is safe and deep, and the spade rudder, perched right at the aft end, rotates around 360 degrees, for those inclined towards performing party-tricks! Re-engined in 2001and retro-fitted with in-mast mainsail handling in 2003, she is in only her second ownership. The current owners are reluctantly selling because of their lack of sailing opportunities, but have continued the original owner's careful custodianship and she seems very clean, tidy and up-together.”
