Broker's Comments
This truly classic gentlemans Motor yacht is by far the most "interesting" boat I have ever stepped aboard. Built in 1938 the current owners (who by the way are only the third owners in her history) have built up an extensive portfolio tracing her back to her origins.
This is a testament to the quality of craftsmanship and materials used. She has been out of the water from July last until January this year for painting/varnishing and replacing foredeck and stern post, lower rudder pintle/nylon bearing anti fouling when she was also surveyed.
She can be seen on the "Historic Ships Register number 1933.
I find it difficult to describe this amazing vessel and do her justice.
She is in original condition retaining most if not all of her original fittings.
The current owners live aboard mainly using the spacious saloon and aft cabin areas.
Fwd of the engine room there are crew quarters which are largely original as they is currently used mainly as storage for provisions.
There is a little work (varnishing) to be done in the wheelhouse which ought to be finished by the end of May. The owners will also be cleaning out the fwd sections.
This is a truly stunning vessel with beautiful lines in superb structural condition, the owner has asked me to point out that there is a little cosmetic work perhaps fwd of the engine room.
These boat details are subject to contract.
