Broker's Comments
This boat is being marketed as a project for major repair, and it is envisaged that prospective buyers will have the capability to carry out the work. Previously listed with us we have a mix of pictures showing her as she can look (2 years ago), we have included some of these pictures for reference.
We also have further pictures and videos showing what the boat looked like and happy to share these on request.
There is a full candid survey available.
The boat was previously fitted out 2013/2014 for skippered charter which the boat was operating up to 3 years ago.
Offers are being invited and full assistance will be given for inspection.
Below is the surveyor’s summary.
SUMMARY
It was unlikely that previous repairs had fully eradicated rot in that bow areas and new rot was apparent in parts of the foredeck as well as much of the superstructure.
Major repairs were therefore required and likely to include:-
Full renewal of bulwark inner and outer skins
Renewal of much of the Bulwark Capping
Renewal of some Bulwark support Framing
Renewal of Wheelhouse Sides and Front
Full Removal of Bridge Deck and Rebuilding after Repairs below
Repair to rotted Foredeck Planks by Forehatch
Local Repair to decay in Sidedeck Planks
Renewal of large lengths of Deck Edge Covering Boards
Repairs to rotted Beam Shelf in Steering Flat
However much of the hull and deck interior structure was inaccessible for full inspection. Areas that were accessible, below forward passage and aft cabin sole showed fairly extensive dampness, trapped sawdust and dirt and surface mould. All of these were indications that rot and fungal growths may occur.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
