No. of double berths 1
Cabin(s) 1
Sink 2
Shower 1
Heads 1 heads (Electric)

Boarding is easiest via dock steps to the enclosed aft deck. Wide covered fiberglass side decks which have been repainted and striped, lead to the bow.
The aft deck has a custom hard cover and is completely enclosed with a custom sliding system. Enclosure panels are easy to slide for ventilation or easily removed. The aft deck has a teak and holly sole and ample room for several people to enjoy.

A ladder leads to the flybridge. The hard cover over the aft deck is a comfortable spot for guests with a beautiful rattan settee and a Monument 7-burner barbeque and rotisserie. (The settee and barbeque are negotiable items, not included in the sale.)
Forward is the flybridge helm and seating area with an adjustable, black leather Lebroc helm chair and custom bench seating on either side.

Access to the main cabin is either via double sliding doors from the aft deck or a starboard sliding door at the lower helm station.
The main cabin: the galley is port with a 3-burner Force 10 stove/oven, undercounter side-by-side Norcold refrigerator/freezer, large stainless-steel sink, large counter top with cupboard and drawer storage below. A brand new, vented, 110v Splendide XC washer/dryer combo was installed May 2022. The counters are extended with the addition of a custom wood chopping-block style counter top.
Headliner was replaced and LED lights installed throughout (2009).

Starboard is a barrel chair with a U-Line ice maker enclosed and situated as a side table. This area has been reconfigured and might accommodate a folding settee which converts to a full berth.

Forward starboard is the lower helm station with full complement of controls, navigation equipment and a Lebroc black leather, adjustable captain's chair.
There is no evidence of windows leaking; all windows have been resealed.

Forward, down two steps, is the completely-renovated stateroom with an amazing amount of storage available. A large double hanging locker is port, with a small settee area and storage along the hull. The queen berth is situated to port with storage below. Another hanging locker and storage are starboard.

Aft of the starboard locker is the head compartment with a small tub and shower, sink, storage, counter space and toilet. The toilet is a rebuilt Crown, raw water flush, macerating toilet plumbed to the holding tank. The owners also installed a LectraSan USCG certified Type 1 Marine sanitation device by Raritan. This system is activated by switching a lever to flush to the LectraSan, which treats the sewage and then discharge overboard in appropriate waters. This system replaces the usual macerator discharge directly from the holding tank and only releases treated (vs raw) sewage to the appropriate waters.

Cabin heat is provided by a Webasto forced air diesel furnace, installed 2021.

Items in storage, not currently installed but available on negotiation: radar and antennae, hand rail materials for flybridge, AC power small chest freezer, 1.7 cubic ft AC/DC fridge, wine cooler.

Broker's Comments

UPDATE AUGUST 2, 2022: VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 100+ PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS 1978 SEAQUEST EUROPA 39.

MAJOR PRICE REDUCTION ~ !
This boat is a beautiful example of craftsmanship, intention and attention to detail. She is well suited for a cruising couple. Grandchildren and adventurous guests may enjoy sleeping on the enclosed aft deck or the flybridge under the stars.
The current owners intent has been to completely renovate her and those efforts have paid off with a handsome vessel. The brightwork, teak and holly floors and interior teak have been completely refinished with a high gloss finish; the very large windows brighten the interior. The enclosed the aft deck and flybridge seating expands the liveable space - she feels much larger than a 39 foot boat.
The Perkins 354T engine has received maintenance and repairs as needed. The Westerbeke generator, Webasto diesel heat system and Splendide XC washer/dryer combo (May 2022) add to the livability of the boat year round.
A flybridge Captain's seat and bench seating recently installed, create a comfortable upper helm area. The outdoor rattan settee and Monumental barbeque are negotiable items.
In my opinion, this boat would be very comfortable for a cruising couple and for someone who may wish to single-hand it.
