Broker's Comments
Seafinn Yachts, located in the south west of Finland, built high quality motorsailers with long distance and liveaboard cruising in mind. The Seafinn 411 is a popular model for just that. The balance between her capability as a cruising boat and the comfort of accommodation seems to have been struck well. Her shallow draft (and beaching legs) mean tidal waters and shallow bays are accessible to you, extending potential cruising grounds considerably
There seems an extraordinary amount of useable deck area considering the vast amount of interior space below. The foredeck is uncluttered thanks to the bowsprit and a large anchor locker with storage. The side decks feel safe and easy to walk around and the aft deck gives an exterior helm position as well as a fantastic seating area and again lots of storage. The versatile ketch rig means she is easy to handle shorthanded but can carry a large sail area when required. Inmast furling on the main, all lines leading to an electric winch aft and a bow thruster help to make handling a pleasure, and companionway access both sides assist with berthing
At deck saloon level she is light and open, twin sliding companionway doors and a retracting hatch mean plenty of ventilation and windows all round give her great visibility, not just for the helm but for relaxing in whatever the weather. Down again and the lower deck is still bright and airy yet feels like a really comfortable space to enjoy with good headroom and a well thought out interior layout for dining, seating and sleeping (the thwartships aft berth with the transom hatch is just perfect for waking up at anchor!). The galley is well equipped and practical both at sea or alongside and there is plenty of good useable storage throughout.
This is a nice example of what is a really versatile vessel, ideal to liveaboard, great to cruise under sail or power and pretty to look at!
