Broker's Comments

The Sea Ray 280 Sundancer is a well known and loved Express Cruiser. Sea Ray boats are regarded as a prestige brand having a high build quality and designed to be stable in a seaway.

There is a spacious cockpit with plenty of comfortable seating and straightforward access to the engine. The helm has good all round vision and seating space for a passenger/navigator.

The two engines appear to start and run nicely and look clean and tidy.

The current owner has replaced the cockpit seating and canopy.

Inside there is plenty of room and creature comforts for short trips or cruising as a weekender and longer breaks.

The boat has air-conditioning which is very useful. The boat has a separate heads compartment however, the shower tap has been removed and the shower sump box has also been removed but the plumbing is all still there so is easy to reinstate.

She has an aft under sole cabin, a sizeable galley with gas cartridge hob and microwave, fridge and a spacious saloon to relax around. There is a TV fitted to the aft bulkhead. The boat would have had a spirit hob but this has been removed at some point.

This vessel has a recent survey (March 2020) has been regularly maintained to the Boat Safety Scheme standards, expiring in May 2020 and has benefitted from numerous recent maintenance jobs.

The Survey detailed low hours and the current owner has done just a further 20 hours since he has owned her so she is now showing 350 hours (it is evident the starboard hour counter is not working so I am using the port counter for this reading).

The boat is not being used so the owner has decided to sell her due to this. The boat is due to be cleaned as this could not be done by the time I took the pictures.

The boat does need some tidying in some areas to my eye and is priced accordingly.
