Broker's Comments
This is a unique vintage boat ,Cutty Sark type , built in oak and bronze by J. G. Forbes in 1928. She is an authentic, Scottish motor sailer, ketch rigged.
With a waterline length of almost 15m giving you more sail area. She displaces 32 tons through her two original 5-cylinder Gardner engines.
This ship was built as a multipurpose working, reliable and secure boat , hence many features to attract the attention of experts and boating enthusiasts of today.
She is a fabulous example of a whole generation of wooden boats. The culmination of an era that built boats to impress both mechanically & in design.
In this boat "everything" is part of the structure, which gives it solid navigation unknown in other boats.
Perfect to live aboard.
