Broker's Comments
I know these yachts have an awesome reputation in the yachting universe, but until I started researching this particular one I didn’t really know why. Then I found the pedigree! Originally built by Sadler, then taken over by Rival Bowman, Bowman Yachts and then Rustler, these are all names to conjure with – all known for build quality, reliability and seakeeping, no wonder these yachts command top prices!
We can follow ownership trail all the way back to when she was sold new by Clarke and Carter back in 1993, and we have invoices for all the important improvements carried out by this knowledgeable and conscientious owner, who is only selling because a change in circumstances forces his hand.
Among the improvements (mostly to facilitate shorthanded sailing) are new sails from Banks, new ball racing cars for ease of hoist and drop, a heavy duty spinnaker, new winches two years ago, PONTOs grinders for the halyards and 4 speed trimmers for the genoa. New Tekdek flooring in the cockpit, copper coat on the hull, engine rebuild summer 2016, this list goes on, and it is all great stuff!
I have never sailed one of these, but if you look up the many reviews on the internet you will definitely want to come and see this iconic yacht!
