Each Sabreline trawler is subject to an extensive Quality Assurance program throughout its production. A "Boat Parent" follows the boat through the production process, acting as the "eyes" of the consumer. All purchased parts and sub-assemblies are checked as they enter production and each boat is given a 600-point inspection during six separate stages of the building process. Sabres are recognized as quality-built boats for good reason.

This tri-cabin trawler consists of two private suites, each with its own head, separated by the salon. The salon is entered through a slider on the port side or via a starboard-side door at the lower helm. The master suite is aft, down three steps, with a walk-around queen bed, private entrance from the stern, and loads of storage. The private head has a fresh water electric head (installed new by current owner) and an enclosed shower. The guest suite, located in the bow, has a private manual head, loads of storage and a full v-berth. As a note to clarify the listing of "double" berths and heads: the master has a walk-around queen and an electric head; the guest suite has a v-berth which may accommodate 2 people with a manual head.

The salon, galley, and lower helm are all on the same level contributing to the open spacious feel of the main cabin. Loads of windows allow great visibility, light and ventilation whether underway or enjoying a beautiful anchorage. A convertible L-shaped settee with a large teak table are located to port, and a linear settee to starboard for plenty of seating. The dark blue Ultraleather upholstery was updated by the current owner (2012) and is in excellent condition. Teak and holly floors are attractive. Overhead the headliner is in good condition and is accented by classy teak battens. The L-shaped galley is aft starboard. Appliances include a Princess 3-burner propane stove/oven and a NovaKool refrigerator/freezer (12v only), replaced by current owner 2012.

The helm station, forward starboard, has a folding helm seat and sliding door to the deck for easy docking and handling.

Cabin heat is from a Webasto forced-air diesel fired furnace. A 12 gallon Tasco hot water tank provides plenty of hot water. The Magnum Pure Sine 2kw inverter/charger is updated and capable of charging the electronic gadgets many find a “must” of today.

The flybridge is covered with a bimini (fabric is in excellent condition) and may be enclosed on three sides with zippered panels for comfort on inclement days. A mast sports the Raymarine radar dome and a Seawatch dome. The mast may be rigged with a boom and stabilizing sail. The boom is not on board but available, there is no sail. Just aft of the flybridge is a sundeck – it is easy to imagine chairs, a barbeque and friends on a beautiful evening!

Broker's Comments

A Sabreline 36 "Fast Trawler" is a tri-cabin motoryacht with the spaciousness and comfort of the trawler design but with substantially faster performance than traditional trawler hulls.

This boat has ventured many places -- The original owner trucked it from the Pacific Northwest to Florida. The boat explored the coast to Maine and back before returning to the NW. PNW adventures include Alaska and Desolation Sound. This boat will do a lot of things well! A flybridge, which may be enclosed on 3 sides and a lower helm allow comfort in all weather conditions. The interior is spacious and open. The sundeck above the aft cabin gives you plenty of space to enjoy the sun and entertain on a beautiful day. Moving about on deck is easy and safe in all conditions with the wide side decks and sturdy handrails.

Sabrelines, made in the USA are known as quality-built boats.

This one is ready for her next adventures!
