Boarding the boat is easy by either stepping on the swim step and through a transom door, (the swim step is safe with three stainless staples) or directly on the side deck and into the cockpit.
The cockpit has a bimini cover (an attaching enclosure is available) which provides shade and protection from the rain. A cockpit bench seat with a wooden table seems to accommodate two comfortably and has storage below. Hatches in the cockpit sole provide access to storage compartments, engine compartment, batteries and switches.
The solar panel, TV antennae and radar mast are secured on the cabin roof and reached using a step ladder which attaches to either side deck.
Privacy while at the dock or protection from the elements is provided by black out screens, mesh screens, and canvas covers for all windows, hatches and the door.
Ranger Tugs are known for their efficiency of space and systems; this is no exception! The lights throughout the main cabin are LED, the solar panel provides ample power to maintain battery levels, Webasto diesel heat or heat from the engine provide cozy warmth even during the coldest months, allowing year-round cruising.
The main sleeping cabin appears to comfortably accommodate two adults. There is storage below the berths and an insert to make the bed full width which also creates an additional storage space below. The current owner created a very smart white star board step cover to prevent falling down the steps either while standing at the helm or returning to bed.
Aft of the sleeping area is the helm station to starboard with a reversing seat on port. The helm is completely equipped with Garmin GPSmap 5212, autopilot, Yanmar engine display, VHF with AIS, bow and stern thruster controls and engine controls.
The linear galley is just aft of the helm station. The helm seat folds forward to create premium counter space for the galley which is completed with a Nova Kool refrigerator with small freezer compartment, stainless sink, two-burner Princess Gourmet II stove and oven and many storage compartments. A Contour microwave is underneath the facing/reversing settee on the port.
The salon has two facing settees and table which may be cozy but would seem to accommodate four adults. The settee and table may convert to a single berth. Unfortunately, the upholstery has blemishes from a cat living and traveling onboard but no tears.
Under the settee is another single sleeping area which easily doubles as storage space. The current owners converted the small desk space to shelving which primarily held food stores.
The head compartment is just aft of the galley and equipped with an electric, fresh-water flush Dometic toilet, a beautiful dark blue glass sink, hanging shower head, windows for ventilation, storage and hanging racks.
She is extremely clean and efficient with space; ready for adventures!

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 110+ PHOTOS - FULL DESCRIPTIONS MAY BE VIEWED OF THIS 2012 RANGER TUGS 27 NORTHWEST EDITION.
This is a unique opportunity to own an incredibly well-maintained Northwest Edition 2012 Ranger Tugs 27. A 2011 Float-On dual axle trailer is available for $4,900.00. A great package together!
The Yanmar 4BY3 180hp engine was replaced by the original owners in 2016 and has only 780 hours on it. She has been across the United States and returned. The current owners purchased her in Florida and re-visited many parts of the Great Loop: cruising Florida, most of the Great Lakes, Erie Canal, historic canals in Canada, the Tennessee River and inland river system from Kentucky to Mobile, AL. She has returned to the Pacific Northwest and is ready to take you on your adventures.
A detailed maintenance and procedures log is available. The log outlines her history since the current owners’ possession, all serial numbers, supplies needed, dates maintenance performed, engine hours where appropriate and suggests what to wear! In my opinion, you won’t find a more conscientious seller very often.
Don’t miss the 110+ photos, video walk-through and complete descriptions and specifications!
