Broker's Comments
This Princess 414 is a nice example of these very capable and well respected flybridge cruisers.
She has a current Boat Safety Certificate to 2024 and the owner still has the survey from 2015 when he bought her. This boat has been owned by her current owner for the last 6 years. Covid and Brexit have scuttled his plans to spend extended time cruising in Europe which is what she was bought for - he has now reluctantly decided to do something different. She offers huge accommodation for up to 8 people or would be very spacious for two couples or a small family and offers two double cabins both with en-suite heads and shower facilities. She has two fridges and Webasto diesel warm air heating throughout.
The large saloon is a roomy and comfortable place to be and the extra large dinette opposite the galley gives a great further location to eat and relax. Her aft cabin has a full island berth and the heads and shower compartments are separate to each other. The aft cabin is huge and a very nice space indeed. The outside space is just as impressive as she offers wide, safe decks, a large open foredeck that is great for sunbathing, a large aft deck with seating boxes plus the flybridge area that is a good size and offers commanding views.
The boat has been sitting ashore for two years now and the owner has advised that the forward shower drain pump has been removed and will need to be refitted or replaced. Other than that the vendor advises that everything works as it should and she has a good suite of navigation, radar and electronics fitted.
As she has been ashore for a while the engines should be serviced and she would also benefit from being antifouled. The vendor acknowledges this and has priced this vast and capable boat accordingly. This is a great chance to get a Princess flybridge at a reduced market price.
Externally, as the boat has been ashore since Covid, she would benefit from a full clean over but this is normal and the work of an afternoon; that said she is not at all badly soiled.
