Broker's Comments
A super example of this popular large family flybridge cruiser. The usual Princess build quality made the 38 one of the most popular boats of her era, and these virtues hold good to this day. These boats are known for their seaworthy handling and a good turn of speed. Below, there is plenty of space in two cabins and the large, bright saloon provides an additional three berths.
She is in great condition inside and out and has been meticulously maintained by the current owners.
A big plus is that this boat comes with a Central London residential mooring licence. These licences alone have been marketed for sums in excess of £30,000 and there is currently a very long waiting list to get into this marina. This is a secure, gated marina, very close to Canary Wharf and the City. It is a popular and convenient location, with tubes, buses, trains and the river bus all close to hand, as well as supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops.
Whilst the residential mooring is a huge bonus, don't forget this is a great boat for pootling up and down the river or even hurtling across the Channel. Whilst the the twin diesel engine provide plenty of oomph, they are extremely economical, enabling fast, stylish cruising at an affordable price. The current owner is prepared to devote some time to instructing new owners on driving and handling the boat. So, not only a super central London home, but a potentially exciting one!
