Broker's Comments
Arguably one of the smartest 35 foot blue water cruisers currently listed for sale. We are proud to present this exceptionally well cared for yacht with the heritage of renowned Yacht builders, Moody.
The current owners have spared no expense during their 12 year ownership with multiple upgrades and improvements some of which are listed.
In 2015 the boat received a new Lowrance chart plotter, external GPS antenna, Webasto warm air heating system, NASA GPS repeater fitted to Furno GPS. All bunk and cabin lights were replaced with LED bulbs. In 2016 a new Lewmar pro series electric windlass was fitted by Seapower, a new mainsail from Dolphin was fitted, chain-plate covers were renewed, three new domestic batteries added, additionally, new prop shaft, cutlass bearings, starter motor and Jabsco domestic water pump were fitted along with replacement Moody stripes. In 2018 she had new boarding gates fitted. In 2019 a new engine battery, battery charger relay, GPS repeater and mast head windex (clipper). In 2020 the engine glow plugs were replaced.
If externally the boat presents well one would be forgiven for miscalculating the boat's age based on appearances below deck. The sole flooring looks fresh, as does the headlining, side panelling and wood trim. The new upholstery adds to the clean, light and extremely well found interior.
In summary this boat has the build quality that is synonymous with Moody. Innovative design, incorporating comfort and space unprecedented for her size. sailing performance inclusive of club racing or ocean crossing and an attentive maintenance record with multiple improvements/upgrades.
