Broker's Comments
This one-owner sport fisher / coastal cruiser appears impeccably maintained. It has been put into dry storage every winter and has been kept under cover in a boathouse. Its appearance looks nearly new.
At just under 30 feet, with an included custom (King) triple-axle trailer, this boat can be taken across the Canada/US border on land without any extra hassle due to size restrictions. It will require an appropriately sized truck for hauling. Including the swim step and bowsprit, she is 32'8" end to end.
This is an all-weather luxury power boat that is well-suited for the Pacific Northwest. The interior is roomy, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. She appears only very lightly used.
The twin KAD 32 Volvo Penta diesels are reported to drive the boat to a speedy 30 knot cruise speed, burning just 16.2 gal/hr. (1.85 nm/gal.) That statistic makes this an efficient and fast boat. The reported maximum speed is 38 knots.
Of course, it is set up for fishing as well with a remote autopilot on BOTH the main engines and the 8HP Yamaha trolling outboard. The outboard also has hydraulic lift. A built-in cleaning station, a second fish sounder, "Scotty" downrigger bases with wiring, and wash-downs round out the cockpit conveniences underneath a custom "Port Orchard" bimini top. Both fresh and raw water are available at the wash-down. An insulated fish tank and under-seat freezer make for an ideal fishing vessel.
A Heart inverter/charger, Espar Diesel furnace, newer Lowrance chart plotter, and ample storage make this an attractive family cruiser. The upper settee can comfortably seat five with a great view all around.
While Monaro Marine may not be a familiar brand, these boats have an excellent reputation among those who have owned them or cruised them, and could be compared to an "Ocean Sport Roamer" 30', "Sea Sport Commander" 2800 (28',) or "Grady-White Marlin 300.”
