Broker's Comments

This is an exceptional example of what has to be the best 18' bowrider ever to come from the U.S. No small claim is that either when one considers how many U.S. bowriders there are to choose from. What makes it so good? Well, for a start the design and styling is an example of a boat which looks fast standing still, eye-catching without being over the top and is simply a cool looking boat. A lot of thought has gone into the interior arrangement as well. She has really firm non-slip GRP decks for when the kids are in and out after skiing/wake boarding etc, but also has a good quality snap in carpet set for the cruise with friends to the pub. The attention to detail has to mentioned, for example the glove box doubles as an ice box to keep the cans chilled!. The engine hatch is a lesson to others on how to do it. As can be seen in the pictures, it opens full width and height. The access to the bilges/service items, wiring etc is absolutely perfect. The ease of access is one of the reasons the engine bay is so clean, you can actually get to it. The seating is constructed to a very high standard, as is everything used to build this model. A small sign of quality is when a builder uses stainless skin fittings. No cheap plastic here. That maybe only a small detail, but it is indicative of the approach of doing things right, Apart from all of the above, one of the main things that sets this boat apart is the engine. In my humble opinion, the Mercruiser 4.3 MPI is as good as it gets in this size boat. Reliable starting, silky smooth running, bags of torque, quiet and economical. Better to have a bigger engine working lazy, than a little engine working hard. With a removable wakeboard tower, high end sound system, road trailer and colour coded covers, she is a complete package in great order and ready to go.
