The four blade prop delivers a lot of torque with no vibration. The rudder for this boat was custom made to increase its size from the original rudder to provide for more lateral stability and better slow-speed maneuverability for docking. The rudder and prop are well protected by a metal log sinker keel extension.

The cabin heat is Espar hydronic forced air. The fuel tanks are fiberglass. The water tanks are stainless steel and the holding tank is fiberglass. The recent survey report stated "NO ADVERSE FINDINGS."

Entry to the large covered cockpit is from one of the two doors in the side decks amidships or via the large transom door from the swim step.

Moving forward through a sliding door from the cockpit into the main saloon which includes the galley to port and the lower helm station to starboard. The helm station includes a sliding door to the starboard covered side deck. There is a port side L shaped settee and a dining table. The settee converts in to a very nice double bed. The teak table has two hinged extensions. Aft and to starboard is a pullman-type convertible settee that converts to a double bed. Forward of this settee is the below-counter refrigerator. A microwave oven is on the counter. Forward to starboard is the helm station. Below the helm seat is a slide out bottle storage area. The helm station includes a sliding door to the starboard covered side deck. To port is the galley with lots of counter space with storage drawers below. The propane stove has three burners and an oven. The counter space includes a forward facing SS sink. A major feature of this saloon is the many large windows providing visibility whether seated or standing. The side windows have sliding sections for ventilation. The center forward window also opens. There are coverings for all of the windows All of the interior wood surfaces are of teak golden teak and teak veneers. The floors are teak and holly. The forward cabin is four steps below and features a queen size double bed. There is an opening hatch above and opening small windows port and starboard. There is lots of storage including a hanging locker, side compartments and drawers below the bed. A popular feature of this cabin is that the head and shower are separated into port and starboard compartments of this cabin.

Exiting the sliding cockpit door and up the spiral staircase to the upper deck there is an upper helm with full navigation equipment. There is custom made convertible double helm bench. L shaped seating is to starboard. Aft and to the center is the hinged mast with navigation equipment. Further aft and to starboard is the shore boat and a manual davit for lowering to the water. Also there are flexible solar panels installed on the dinghy that can easily be removed when the dinghy is deployed. A very important feature of this Mariner Seville model are the covered side decks which provide easy movement around the exterior for docking or anchoring.

It is the Seville model of Mariner that is the predecessor to the current day Helmsman Trawlers.

Originally imported and sold as a Mariner Yachts International 35 Seville Sedan, this model is the predecessor to the current Helmsman Trawlers 37 Europa Sedan.
