This is the best example of an LM 28 that I have ever seen. Lightly used by her owners, she has a good looking hull and interior. The Danish certainly know about high calibre build quality and this vessel is proof. She has a long fin so this LM 28 sailing boat will be surefooted and feel safe under sail. The 28HP engine provides ample power when motoring too.She is easy boat to single-hand too. The LM 28 was a very successful model with about 325 being built. This is one of the last ones to be built. She has fine lines and a lovely stern. Some families utilise the cockpit seating to provide an additional 2 fine-weather berths.

No. of double berths | 3 |
Cabin(s) | 2 |

The bright work is fabulous and the accommodation absolutely cavernous. The cockpit wood gleams as does the companion way. The wheelhouse provides a wonderful and practical sheltered helm position. The galley is on the portside with ample storage and cupboards. There is a double locker below the floor. The fridge is cleverly positoned under the helm seat.
Go down below decks and you will find a marvellous space. The teak interior provides a cosy atmosphere. The portside settee berth converts to a double berth. The starboard settee berth will also do so (with the addition of legs for support). The heads is on the starboard side with storage opposite. The forward cabin is comfortable and can be arranged as two single or a double. The eberspacher heating will ensure that you can enjoy warm evenings even if it is snowing outside.

325 of these LM's were built, proving how popular they were. The Scandinavian's build quality is superb and this LM 28 is the best example that I have seen. Lightly used over the years, she was first owned by a German who kept her in Holland on freshwater. Then she went to Ireland and her third (current owners) have looked after her from 1993. She is an absolute credit to them. This boat has a gorgeous cockpit and can easily accomodate 6 in the cockpit or down below for a meal. The bright work looks amazing and the boat itself is cavernous. The interior helm is as practical as the cockpit position as well. This is a fabulous boat for a family - surefooted, can be sailed single handed and so much room for socialising. Note that she has a long fin keel.
