The seller reports that this vessel was originally based on a Kha Shing 40 Sundeck. This particular boat has had a cockpit extension added which extends its nominal length to 46 feet and its total LOA to 50'. The seller does not know when the cockpit was added and it may have been done at the factory as part of her original construction -- it certainly does not appear like an add-on. Wide side decks, a very large covered sun deck, flybridge with lots of seating and the six feet of cockpit gives this boat a great deal of exterior living space making it ideal for summer excursions by a family or small group. Diesel heat makes it a year around cruiser.

The NMEA-186 multiplexer also provides input ports for the AIS receiver, the VHF radio emergency output, and the high speed compass heading output from the Autopilot Gyro (to improve radar target registration with the MFD chart display). The NMEA-186 port on the E-120 is reserved for a USB computer interface to allow route downloads. The NMEA-186 port on the E-80 is a spare. A NMEA-2000 network is used to connect the engine monitor to both the E-120 and the E-80.

Broker's Comments
This boathouse-kept Kha Shing 46 Cockpit Motor Yacht has been constantly maintained and upgraded by her current owner. The tri-cabin configuration is complimented by a very large amount of exterior living space and a super large aft owners' cabin. There is room and comfort on board for a good size family to make extended voyages. She has been used regularly and her electronics are all of newer vintage. The very best kind of boat to buy is one that sees regular use and is well-maintained. This is one of those boats.
This Kha Shing Trawler can be compared favorably to CHB or Ponderosa and has stylings similar to a Tollycraft CPMY. The professional custom cockpit addition gives you ample amount of water level outdoor enjoyment space and greatly enhances the utility of the design.
This boat resides in a TYC Boathouse which is also for sale. If a buyer wishes to purchase both boat and house a deal can be negotiated. Moorage is a little over $500 with TYC membership.
