Broker's Comments
Jeanneau use the marketing phrase 'pure happiness on the water' to describe their range of performance sailing yachts. This boat has provided exactly that for her only owners from new and thanks to their meticulous care she's waiting to continue providing that pleasure.
Designed to really sail, a fully battened main (with lazy jacks) and furling headsail give you the performance combined with ease of handling. A purpose-built short bowsprit allows an asymmetric chute to set well and really lift her off the wind, and the 'Sunfast' deep fin and bulb configuration optimises upwind performance rarely found on a cruising boat
Below, the 3 cabin layout feels surprisingly spacious for a boat this length. All the cabins are light and airy, with good size double berths and ample usable storage. Both heads have showers with plenty of headroom, the galley is well laid out, practical for use at sea, yet also more than adequate for entertaining.
Several dining options, large tables in both the saloon and the cockpit cover all weathers and the full cockpit enclosure increases that versatility again. Clever design at the chart table gives the same advantages, forward facing for the navigator which easily slides back for relaxing in the saloon.
What sets this boat apart for me though is the way she presents. Not just on first impression but everywhere you go. The saloon is carpeted, lift that and the flooring under looks superb, lift that and the bilges literally sparkle! From the freshly polished hull (I watched it being done) to the bilge under the engine to the inside of the fridge, the attention to detail just makes me smile. For me, she's an absolute pleasure to step aboard.
