Broker's Comments
The Jeanneau Merry Fisher range are, in my opinion, the most innovative range of affordable cruising powerboats you can find. Adaptable for anything from day fishing to offshore distance cruising, there is a boat to suit and often, thanks to their clever design, one particular model can do all those things.
The Merry Fisher 855 is that boat - it has everything you need to stay aboard in comfort but needs very little to just enjoy being on the water. It is big enough with two really good sized double berths and an easily convertible saloon but not too big that is cannot be handled easily, particularly with the twin outboard engines and bow thruster set up this one has.
She's easy to move around on deck; the offset wheelhouse allows safe access to the foredeck and the cockpit is sheltered by a full enclosure, zipped off to a bimini or quickly removed. Below she is light and well ventilated, great visibility from the helm and saloon and versatile combinations of seating to suit your use. As well as a great forward cabin what is surprising is the second cabin with a (huge) double berth, again light and bright and comfortable.
She has lots of extras - smart upholstery inboard and out (kept covered when not in use) and appears to have been extremely well maintained with the most recent engine services in October '23 and July '24. She presents really nicely, clean and fresh, well equipped and ready to enjoy.
