The Hewescraft Ocean Pro 220 is built to be a tough vessel, with all-welded, heavy-gauge aluminum construction.

Per Manufacturer's Literature:

"For years, the Ocean Pro has set the Pacific Northwest standard for anglers seeking the toughest, most-capable mid-sized fishing boat. So, naturally, competing brands have long pursued this boat’s safety, roominess, affordability, and fishability. With the Ocean Pro’s upgrades, they’re going to have to keep chasing. Its longer fishing deck, new 100-gallon fuel tank, roomier driving area, and enhanced performance combine to keep the Ocean Pro miles ahead of competing brands."

Hull is of aluminum construction. Bottom plating is 0.19" aluminum. Hull sides are 0.125".

100 gallon main fuel tank is of aluminum construction. The kicker motor fuel tank is of poly construction.

Exterior decks are aluminum diamond plate material for durability and traction.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Accommodation

No. of double berths 1

The cockpit is large, open, designed for fishing, and has downrigger pads on each side (port and starboard), 14 rocket launchers, a live well, and storage lockers + shelving for stowing gear. An aft steering station allows the whole crew to be a part of the action. The cockpit can be illuminated with an LED deck light.

A lockable hinged companionway door separates the cockpit from the cabin. The cabin has seating for 6 on two bench seats and two forward facing seats. The bench seats convert to a berth for sleeping two. The helm station has a Garmin multifunction display with fish finder and chartplotter, a VHF radio, Yamaha engine data display, and switch panel.

Visibility is good and unobstructed all around from within the cabin due to the large Motion Windows. The side windows are screened and can be opened for airflow. A half-height door can also be hinged open to provide access to the foredeck for fishing, anchoring, or docking, and provides additional airflow on warm days.

The main cabin roof / coachroof is substantially sized and can be used for storing pots or other gear. Rails run fore and aft on the coachroof and can be used to secure gear and equipment.

The head is a "Luggable Loo" bucket style potty.

Broker's Comments

Hewescraft states that their boats are "the number-one selling heavy-gauge aluminum boat in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska —a place where fishermen take their fishing, and their fishing gear, very seriously."

The Hewescraft 220 Ocean Pro is a sturdily built Pacific Northwest fishing icon. Due to her aluminum construction this vessel weighs 3300 lbs (dry) and is easily trailered with the EZ-Loader dual axle trailer (included).

This 220 Ocean Pro has low hours, with only 87 hours on the 250 Yamaha main engine, and a 9.9 Yamaha High Thrust kicker for trolling. This vessel is equipped with a Webasto forced air diesel heater for enjoyable fishing year round and an electric windlass to simplify anchoring.

This is an ideal fishing package for crabbing, shrimping, salmon fishing, halibut fishing, and more with a roomy cockpit designed to fish, a cabin that seats six and sleeps two, a roof capable of carrying additional gear, and powered by low hour Yamahas.
