The Wing Keel gives the Hanse 301 good performance with the added benefit of a shallow draft.
The hull was epoxied below the water line in 2012 as a preventative measure.

Broker's Comments
The Hanse 301's are well built cruisers with good sailing performance and easy handling. The self-tacking jib, plus lines all led aft to the cockpit, make them ideal first boats and perfect for short handed sailing.
This one has hot water and cabin heating; the sails were replaced in 2008 and the sail drive gaiter was also renewed in 2010.
Its a nice clean tidy boat; the hull topsides could do with a polish but that's about it.
