Broker's Comments
I am very pleased to be able to offer this very very tidy example of the ever popular Hampton Safari broads cruiser MK2.
This is a very nicely running example with a well maintained and annually serviced Perkins diesel engine. This nice little boat oozes charm and originality and has been clearly well cared for by her current and previous owners. The boat has its broads toll paid for this year has a valid Boat safety certificate that expires in 2024, was lifted and antifouled last week and serviced just last month. She even has a full tank for diesel ready for the season. The boats starts and drives as it should and is presented beautifully.
She has a new memory foam mattress that has been used just for one night and is very nicely trimmed throughout. She has 240v shore power with battery charger.
She is very original and appears to be in very good order throughout with just a small piece of edge trim on them helm missing and the headlining panel in the galley possibly needing a repaint.
She has a delightfully roomy saloon that can become a single bed or a snug double and also benefits form a full sized fixed double berth in the separate aft cabin. Her sliding roof makes this a delightful boat for the Broads and she will pass under all Broads bridges with ease.
She has a spacious mid galley equipped with fridge basin and cooker and ample cupboards and worktop space. There is a large heads compartment amidships with the reliable broads "Thunderbox" pump out toilet, large wash basin and full shower.
The fore peak storage locked houses spare fenders an inflatable dinghy and a rear canopy for the aft deck all of which are included in the sale. If you are looking for an easy to handle fantastic broads holiday boat this will deliver! The owner is selling due to his wifes recent mobility issues, as she finds using the boat difficult now.
