Broker's Comments
If you're looking for a seaworthy, easy to handle, offshore cruiser, that can be sailed in both fine and feisty conditions, then this tough little Halcyon 27 is well worth your consideration.
Designed by Alan Buchanan and built by Offshore Yachts, these strongly built cruisers come with a long keel, a transom hung rudder and a well earned reputation for good sailing performance.
Although there are some similarities to the earlier folk boats designs, these have the added advantage of more interior space, headroom and general comfort. This example has the an Origo 3000 spirit cooker and a Hampshire charcoal cabin heater.
This little yacht, with big reputation, sails well in most conditions and is an ideal first time cruiser for a single person or a young family.
