Broker's Comments
Here we have a light project Elysian 27. I have put the year as 1970 but as yet cannot confirm the actual year.
Generally, the boat appears to be in good condition to my eye with just a couple of small gouges in the bow gelcoat that would benefit from filling but these are not essential work.
The boat has been out of the water for many months now. I am told by the vendor that she ran just fine but cannot verify this. Her batteries are dead and the gas system has been removed at some point prior to the current owner buying her.
It should be noted that there is a small amount of diesel in the engine bay / stringer near the fuel tank so although this may be spilled fuel it may be indicative if a leaking diesel tank. The tank is small and easy to access so if the fuel is from a leaking tank it is not overly costly or difficult to replace.
The current owner was going to have a new cooker fitted and I believe has a new cooker for the boat which will be included in the sale if she sells at the asking price.
The owner has now decided to sell the boat as she found it too big for her and realises it was a mistake to buy the boat.
The boat is offered at a realistic price to sell given her condition and issues, and is 50% below what the owner paid for her a year ago and she only used her a few times.
The boat has a cold water system only and needs some varnishing doing to some interior wood. Other than that she is a very nice all gelcoat Elysian 27 that should be a light winter project to put back into service and enjoy. Her upholstery is all ok and her canopy is good too.
This could be a very simple renovation project for the winter and would make a very nice boat once done.
These boat details are subject to contract.
