Broker's Comments

A stunning Dutch barge with a prized Thames mooring. Forming part of a well-run and sociable community mooring, this barge oozes "character" and charm, and offers great living space - inside and out.

She's in great condition and has been well maintained and updated over the past 11 years by the current owner. The living room / saloon is bright and spacious with lots of natural light; down a few steps to the open plan galley / dining room with wood burning stove. As for sleeping arrangements, the master cabin is aft and has loads of built-in storage space. The second bedroom, forward, has been converted into two rooms (with a stud wall), which are currently used as a second bedroom and a study; this could easily be re-configured to provide one large sleeping space. The interieor is heated with an economical diesel central heating system.

The engine is in good working order and ready for cruising further afield.

The residential mooring, which has a 38 year lease, is included in the sale price. There is off-street parking and additional storage available nearby at a small additional cost. The mooring is gated (with doorbell) and is conveniently located within walking distance to Battersea Square, Chelsea and Clapham Junction mainline station.

You'll need to be quick with this one. Boats of this caibre on such desirable moorings don’t hang around for long!
