Broker's Comments

This vessel is a perfect liveaboard and cruising Dutch Barge and is well maintained with the added benefit of a recent JCB 125 hp Mermaid turbo engine in 2010 along with all new electrics . It has two double cabins and an open plan lounge, kitchen diner as the main room and a wheelhouse just aft of centre of the boat with seating.

Designed on a Dutch Tjalk, it has the benefit of low air draft with a folding wheelhouse and will be suitable for the French canal system. The owners have lived on her on the Grand Union Canal for 17 years and more recently have cruised her up to Lechlade on the Thames, the Medway and around the South East Coast of England.

The hull is original and riveted Iron/Steel, there is some overplating done in the early 2000's and the super structure was put onto her in the 1980's. The back deck was added in the 1940's in Antwerp and again in Rotterdam (there are original markings confirming this) The owners have the Meetbrief (blue book) with some of her history.

In September 2017 she was repainted and came out of the water for an ultrasonic hull survey ,scrub and re-blacking. So she is serviced below the waterline.
