This semi-displacement long range motor yacht is constructed of aluminum and is both strong and low maintenance. Modern aluminum yachts built of 5000 series alloy do not need to be painted above the waterline as they simply do not corrode in sea water. Finding from the last survey 2010 reports "Ultrasonic and microfracture testing was conducted with no major concerns noted."
The longitudinal frames are 1/4" and 3/8" aluminum. Athwartship frames are 1/4." Hull and deck plating 1/4." aluminum.
A unique feature is the twin keel design providing protection to the propellers and rudders which will allow this boat to sit on it's own bottom.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and dimensions, which are reported from seller-provided information or literature.

Broker's Comments
This Custom Aluminum Long Range Trawler was designed by Ted Brewer and built in Ohio by Marine Aluminum Fabricators in 1990. That firm built 15 aluminum vessels, five of which were of this Brewer design. This boat was built of series 5000 alloy which in the marine environment does not require painting above the waterline. This is an ideal vessel for our style of NW cruising for one or two couples or as a live-aboard. With twin engines and convenient access from the helm to the side decks this boat is easy to single hand. Low maintenance, economical fuel requirements, well-equipped with current navigation electronics, hydraulic anchoring and davit -- all contribute to a well-designed and equipped Alaska-capable live aboard and traveler.
