Broker's Comments
Here we have a nice example of the very capable Cranchi Mediteranee 40 sports cruiser.
She is powered by twin Volvo Penta 71B engines on shafts. She has an onboard generator showing just under 80 hours use. The boat has had new saloon upholstery in the last year which looks very nice indeed.
Her cockpit is huge and very well appointed with plenty of seating and is presented in white, with a moulded wet bar to port which is a useful feature. The twin helm and navigators seats have loads of storage below and there are also floor storage bins too. The helm seat is split to allow the twin bolsters to fold back individually which is a great feature allowing more room when you stand up and drive.
This boat benefits from both bow and stern thrusters with full wireless remote controls which makes her incredibly manoeuvrable and easy to handle.
This is a large and fast cruiser when you want it to be but very economical at river speeds.
The Volvo engines start and appear to run very nicely but are due for a service which is something that I always recommend having done to any boat when you buy it.
The boat has shore power and heating fitted and has a well equipped and spacious galley that compliments the open saloon layout nicely. Her heads compartment is a very generous size with a concealed toilet and a large shower plus a good sized vanity and is bright and clean.
The forward master cabin is large and bright with lots of storage space and a new mattress and storage under the bed with twin wing steps up to the bed either side. She has a side cabin with twin bunks and storage and this is all well presented.
The whole boat is, in my option, above average for her age with just a couple of small areas showing some wear and tear here and there, or needing a minor clean up.
Overall this a lot of boat for the asking price that will be sure to please. I have known the boat for about 20 years and know that she has been across to Holland several times and goes rather well indeed at sea.
She has her Broads toll paid to March 2024 and has a current Boat Safety Certificate and a recent survey.
