Broker's Comments
This Passenger Ferry was a vessel owned by the Gosport Ferry Company Ltd. It was built by Thornycroft of Woolston, Hampshire. The vessel was built in 1966 to an exact design and was delivered in a green and white livery to ferry passengers from Gosport to Portsmouth she left Gosport for the final time on 29 February 2016, to start a new life on the River Thames in London, as a party boat. Her exterior benefited from a re-fit ready to run as a party boat - the interior is a blank canvas ready for your own touch whether it be party boat, event boat or maybe even a large live aboard pad! She currently holds a Class V passenger ship liscence.
The Gosport Queen (Ship No. 4212) was the last vessel to be built by John I. Thornycroft & Company in Woolston, Southampton.
