Engine re-built in 1985 and 2003. An important feature is that the engine has
dry stack exhaust which greatly adds to the life of the engine.
The 12 V. batteries (four deep cycle) provide 225 amps of power and were new in 2015.

This boat was built in Harbor Ship Yard, Vancouver, B.C. in 1932 as a Canadian Forest Service vessel. She was extensively re-built in 1981-82. Major work included: some re-planking, re-fastening with bronze screws, some new and some sistered frames, replacement of some of the keel including the shaft log, new aluminum fuel tanks, new transom, and removing the entire interior.
Materials include Alaska yellow cedar planking on oak frames.

In the forcabin is a double V-berth and enclosed private head with manual toilet and sink basin. Up and aft is the raised pilot house with side doors port and starboard. A double helm seat converts to show a small bathtub with a hand held shower. Aft and down steps into the main saloon which includes the galley, saloon table and companionway to the aft cockpit. The u-shaped galley includes a diesel stove, a propane counter top three burner stove, and refrigerator with small freezer. There are cabinets and drawers below the counters for storage. Along the port side are storage cabinets. To starboard and aft of the galley is a large L-shaped settee and dining table. There are portable pipe berths that sleep two above the dining area. The saloon area is paneled in tongue and groove cedar with bronze port lights and exposed deck beams in the headlining. The floors are cork tiles.

Broker's Comments
These converted B.C. Government vessels make wonderful pleasure trawlers. They were originally heavily built for commercial duty and designed for use in the Pacific Northwest waters. Their displacement hulls with their long water lines go through the water with grace and style.
