Broker's Comments
This is a spacious wide-beam barge (steel fabricated in the UK by Ledgard Boat Builders in 2006) with a pretty cool open plan interior layout.
Step aboard via the aft deck, through the back door and sliding roof hatch - straight into the kitchen, which is fitted out to the highest spec.
There is a huge open plan saloon, which leads through to the sleeping quarters, which has an impressive four-poster bed. You’re probably now getting the picture that this is no ordinary wide beam barge. With masses of design features and some lovely detail, this one is well worth a look.
The boat comes with a fully residential mooring in a secure, gated marina, very close to Canary Wharf and the City. This is a popular and convenient location, with tubes, buses, trains and the river bus all close to hand, as well as supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops. It would make a great live-aboard – either for someone working in the City or for someone wishing to explore the canals. The marina supports a vibrant and friendly live-aboard community.
