Vessel is equipped with an aft helm on the cockpit deck much like a sailboat that has an aft cabin. However, unlike most sailboats, this helm has a legitimate helm seat.. This elevated steering station gives you the enjoyment of the outside experience without being dedicated to it when the weather changes. Teak decks are solid. Safety is well considered with lifelines and adequate hand holds all around. Side decks are modest but still significant sources of protection while moving around the exterior. This is really a beautiful little trawler. Atkins-Hoyle davits on stern deck.

Broker's Comments
Although Tristan trawlers are a rare sight in the US, the brand is well-regarded and familiar in Europe. Built in Finland, thisTristan 301 is a lovely double-ended pocket trawler and will draw comments from dock walkers every where you go. It has a 2006 Yanmar diesel with very low hours. Upgrades and improvements are seen everywhere on this attractive vessel. It's unusual to find a boat of this size with two separate sleeping cabins. The Tristan 301 compares very favorably to a Willard 30, Nordic Tug, Eagle Trawler or almost any other trawler of this size that you may be considering.
