Broker's Comments
Stevens BV is well known in the Netherlands for high quality steel boat building, both commercially and for the leisure market.
The Stevens 1140 is a great example of the family yard, a comfortable sea boat with clear decks and spacious accommodation. Her twin Volvo engines provide economical, safe coastal cruising whilst her shallow draft and easily reduced airdraft allows access to inland waterways too. The twin helm positions (interior has a sliding access door) makes shorthanded berthing simple and there is great visibility all round above and below.
The deck level saloon is pleasant and bright, a couple of steps down to the galley and dinette gives a great feeling of open space and the cabins fore and aft allow privacy whilst still maintaining light and ventilation. She really does lend herself to a wide range of uses, alongside as a full time home on the water (she has more than ample storage throughout) or cruising the coast or canals and rivers. She's well presented and freshly painted ready for viewing
