Broker's Comments
On a superb residential mooring just a mile or so from Tower Bridge, this Ketch, designed by Van de Stadt, is very strongly built. Her steel structure, combined with the 80 horsepower engine, gives great comfort when at sea. The ketch rig adds to her flexibility and she has a superb working deck with a deep cockpit.
Down below, she has bags of character and a layout that should appeal to those looking to do some long term cruising or, alternatively, have a very cost effective London pied-a-terre. And with the 2012 Olympics less than a year away, residential moorings like this will become almost impossible to find.
She is moored in Docklands, close to the City and a stone's throw from Canary Wharf. Subject to agreement with marina management, this coveted residential mooring is available to the new owner and will cost only 10% (+VAT) of the purchase price.
