Broker's Comments
On a superb residential mooring just a mile from Tower Bridge, this Ketch, designed by Van de Stadt, is built for serious ocean cruising; the steel structure, combined with the 80 horsepower engine, gives great comfort when at sea. The ketch rig makes her extremely flexible and she has a superb working deck with a deep cockpit.
Down below, she has bags of character and a layout that should appeal to those looking to do some long term cruising or, alternatively, a have very cost effective London pied-a-terre. And with the 2012 Olympics just over a year away, residential moorings like this will become almost impossible to find.
This is a true blue water cruiser. The steel hull is designed for ocean sailing and the fit-out with pilot house and a Refleks diesel heater makes her suitable even for the colder latitudes.
She is moored in Docklands, just a mile from the City and a stone's throw from Canary Wharf. Subject to agreement with marina management, this coveted residential mooring is fully transferable to the new owner.
