Broker's Comments

This Express Bridge 440 has been continuously upgraded & maintained by it's current experienced owner. Founded in 1959 by Cornelius Nathaniel "Connie" Ray III, in Oxford, Michigan, the SeaRay founder built his company into the world's largest boat manufacture of it's time with 40 models from 17 feet to 60 feet. He sold the company in December 1986 to Brunswick Corp. for $350 million dollars.
The four lines of Sea Ray products include Sport Boats, Sport Cruisers, Sport Yachts and Yachts producing more than 30 models ranging from 18 to 61 feet.
Sea Ray continued innovations in styling, performance, interior design and many other areas - plus revolutionary breakthroughs in technology and quality manufacturing processes & have placed the company at the top of the world's pleasure boat builders for more than half a century.
The present & 4th owner of this well appointed SeaRay 440 Express Bridge purchased from the prior owner in Florida who had the boat professionally maintained. The boats most recent upgrades include new Trim Tab System, New Battery Charger & New Premium Fridge Freezer.
In addition the Raymarine Hybrid touch screen navigation & radar equipment new exterior canvas & new interior leather upholstery in the main salon. The owner purchased the boat to go cruising with a very well designed floor plan & comfortable accomodations; this 440 Express Bridge Cruiser would suit a couple or small family well for this purpose.
During passage across the Gulf of Mexico from St. Petersburg FL. to Texas the crew got into some sporting weather conditions, the owner states that the boat handled very well during the passage experiencing high winds & sea conditions for 36+ hrs & did not doubt the sea worthiness of the boat.
