Modified deep-V hull has 20 degree deadrise amidship and 14 degrees at the transom. Relatively fine entry "for seakindliness in rough conditions", and a chine strake with 3 degree reverse angle for added lift and spray deflection.

Hull and deck are made of hand-laminated glass mat and knitted roving with balsa core as a stiffener. Vinylester resins used in outer hull layers.

Molded-in steps for access to the side decks, which are wide and with a good non-skid molded surface. Large, open cockpit for unobstructed fishing or for deck chairs. In addition to a large lazarette for storage there are three lockers in the floor of the cockpit. One houses the propane tank. The other two have large removable bins -- a clever design to improve the utility of the storage and access below. Transom door to a wide swim platform. Flybridge with two pedestal seats and a bench seat containing an ice chest (all new in 2010).

Stainless handrails with double rungs forward. Two bow lockers for storage (and for hidden anchor washdown equipment).

Large salon windows at a suitable height for enjoying the views while sitting. All windows appear to be in excellent condition with no evidence of leakage.

Fuel capacity has been upgraded to 300 gallons.

Bottom painted 2013.

Broker's Comments

This Sabreline 34 Flybridge Fast Trawler appears in extremely nice condition -- the result of storage under cover for nearly its entire life and of attentive care from its meticulous owners.

A very attractive design from a highly-respected builder, this boat will do a lot of things well. She has the hull and the power to get up and go, but will also track along quite steadily and efficiently at displacement speeds. A nice flybridge and an enclosed lower helm enable maximum joy and comfort in all weather conditions. A surprisingly spacious and open interior doesn't come at the expense of a roomy cockpit, which offers a lot of options for entertaining or sunning or fishing. Safe operation is aided by wide side decks and quality handrails and handholds in the right places.

Twin Cummins 250 hp diesel engines and other quality equipment add to the value of this boat, which is hard to find in the Pacific Northwest. The lovely teak interior is both classic and durable and shows evidence of good care and gentle use.

This one is a sweetheart and should be interesting to anyone looking for a pedigreed fast trawler-style boat that is equipped, ready to go, well-priced and in top condition.
