The hull and deck were produced using a composite sandwich that captures 3/16" Honduran mahogany between layers of epoxy saturated 6 oz e-glass on the outside and 1/2" H80 high density foam coring backed by 1/4" okoume planking and carbon fiber on the inside to make an incredibly strong yet lightweight yacht. Her exterior is finished with six coats of Awlbright high gloss clear polyurethane for beauty and ease of maintenance.
Okoume is a type of Mahogany known for its high strength to weight ratio.
Schooner Creek Boat Works has been a leading builder of custom boats using modern light weight composite systems. They have been in business in Portland, Oregon since the mid 1970's and have a reputation for high quality work.

Broker's Comments
Here is an opportunity to proudly own a gorgeous launch of a classic design in the style of Chris-Craft or Hacker-Craft. She is built of modern materials with a system of composite construction which should give years of trouble free ownership. This is a Robert Perry design and was built by Schooner Creek Boat Works in Portland, Oregon.
While the dual Kahlenberg air horns will command respect in a crowded harbor, the sheer beauty of this long, sleek, elegant nautical gem will be the more powerful attention-getter. And when underway there's nothing like the thrill of smoothly planing with throaty roar of the engine behind, and the spray far aft.
This launch was commissioned by a Seattle businessman and has been in dry storage since new. There are about 30 hours on the engine and it has just come from the shop with fresh oil change, tune-up, and filter changes. Despite its sparkling and new appearance this launch is offered at a fraction of the original cost to design and build.
This launch comes with a custom-built aluminum twin axle trailer.
