Broker's Comments
Here we have a very tidy example of the very capable Rinker Fiesta Vee 270 with extended bathing platform. This 2003 boat was imported to the UK By local specialist boat yard Barnes Brinkcraft in 2008 and was put through the full CE certification by them before being sold to the current owner, and has the full CE documentation, certification and CE certificate present. She has her VAT paid receipt too.
She is a well presented boat, just in need of a clean as the current owner who I met last year, and was fastidious about her, had a serious accident late last year and has not been able to get back to her to keep her as he did. She appears to have a very well running Mercruiser 350MPI engine that starts readily and quietly and just purrs. The boat has been regularly serviced by a local mercruiser specialist in the owners car over the last 15 years. The engine was replaced and fitted in in 2011, and she has a new transom shield and clutch cones fitted in 2019.
The boat has an Aircon system fitted which the owner advises will need a re-gas, which is not expensive and is a regular event with marine ac systems. My last system cost me about £180 to have checked and re gassed.
These AC systems not only cool the boat but are reverse action so also act as heating too.
She has a holding tank for the toilet system and a good sized toilet and shower compartment and spacious and cosy saloon that converts to a good sized double. She has large under sole double deb too so she can sleep 4. She has a typical American boat compact galley to port with single electric hob, microwave, sink and a good sized fridge.
Her upholstery is all good throughout and same can be said for the cockpit. Again in the pictures you can see she needs a clean down and the vendor is looking into getting her valeted as he can't get to her. The engine hatch raises at the touch of a switch and offers great engine access simply and easily.
With her powerful engine this will be an exhilarating (est 30kts) boat to spend time on, and being fuel injected, will be quite frugal at river speed using between 2-3L per hour in almost total silence. She has flip up bolster helm seat and a wet bar in the cockpit plus comfortable seating for 8 and a cockpit fridge and bathing platform shower.
As advised she is a very tidy boat just in need of a good clean over, however I did notice a small area on the radar arch starboard side indicating a small repair and piece of headlining that would benefit from a new screw to fix it back up. However these minor issues do not detract from what is, a very nice boat indeed.
She has a current Boat Safety Certificate that expires in June 2025 and comes with a file of documentation and bills for work done that head into 5 figures. It is possible that her mooring may be available to the new owner by separate discussion with the marina directly as the vendor will no longer need the mooring.
