Grab ahold of the convenient stainless steel hand rail and step onto the swim platform. A low-height door on the transom opens to welcome you into the cockpit. The cockpit offers a large amount of useable space shaded by a canvas canopy. Built in drop-down bench seats aft and to port allow for comfortable seating for a few shipmates, and stow away neatly under the gunnels when not in use. A Kenyon electric grill and sink emerge from the transom when desired and then disappear when not in use. The decking in the cockpit is upgraded "Raptor Decking" and provides excellent traction and cushioning.

A hinged glass door provides access to the interior and can be latched open. An adjacent full height top-hinged window swings open to connect the cabin with the cockpit and the outdoors.

A settee and saloon table provides seating for four and also converts to a berth. Tucked away beneath the settee is a berth that doubles as a good storage location for larger items.

The galley has a stainless Force10 cooktop and oven, stainless-steel faced Novakool refrigerator / freezer, stainless steel sink, microwave, and ample storage in drawers and cabinets with counter space forward.

Forward of the helm station (and its adjacent companion seating) is a step down into the master stateroom. The master stateroom has drawers, a cabinet, and a space for hanging clothes. Cushions can be arranged to create a full -beam berth if desired, or removed to create two separate berths.

The head compartment contains an electric marine toilet, shower, and sink. Natural lighting in the head compartment is quite good with a portlight and etched overhead skylight.

Numerous large windows, including the curved front windshield, overhead glass atrium, and multiple hatches provide for a surprising amount of natural light and ability to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings while underway.

Broker's Comments

3 VIRTUAL TOURS - 1 VIDEO - 104 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS & BROKER'S COMMENTS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!

This 2019 R-27 has only 240 hours on the engine, and many features such as the Kenyon grill and Force10 cooktop/oven have never even been used. Attentive owners have kept a detailed maintenance log over the last couple of years and have spared no efforts in keeping this vessel clean inside and out and all equipment in working order.

Ranger Tugs literature claims "The R-27 from Ranger Tugs is designed and built to offer maximum usability, value, and FUN." And I think there are a lot of fun and functionality packed into this very approachable vessel.

This vessel provides a nice amount of covered cockpit space for enjoying the outdoors and is packed with features including a full navigational electronics suite, solar panel for while on the hook and off the grid, a very functional galley, and lots of windows to let in light and marine splendor.

I particularly appreciate the size of the cockpit and the features like the electric grill / sink combo and the stowaway seating, which easily disappear when it's time to get underway. The boat is also already configured for down riggers with Scotty pads and 12v outlets.

The outboard-driven design frees up a significant amount of space within the boat, making for a high volume of clean below-deck storage.

If you are looking for a Ranger Tugs R-27 that is like new, but at lower price point, and available now, then this is the boat for you!
