Broker's Comments
Offered at a very reasonable ‘project price’, this Powles 41 offers a fantastic opportunity for a budding enthusiast.
Sturdy and well built, this vessel has acres of room below and is big enough to live aboard whilst carrying out improvements. Yes, she needs a good deal of work to bring her up to top form but this vessel has lots of potential. It’s a floating palace in the making for the right person.
Currently ashore under cover, she is being 'sold as seen’ (due to poor health) and comes complete with lots of tools, spares and ancillary equipment. The owner, a recently retired professional motor yacht skipper, is happy to offer advice and assistance to help the new owner recommission her.
This well constructed, British built twin screw motor cruiser has plenty of space on deck, up forward, aft on the deck, over the rear cabin and on the fly bridge. Down below she seems huge.
The winterised twin shaft driven Volvo Penta TAMD70's offer plenty of power, the deep V semi displacement hull offers good stability and the nav fit, although is a little dated, is still mostly useable.
The accommodation has a large central living space with a comfortable inner helm position, fold out Nav table and great all round visibility and seating. From this you can step down into a separate galley and two private twin ensuite cabins, one fwd and one aft. The aft one is also fitted with a hip style bath!
A project managers dream that has enough space and amenities for a small family to live aboard comfortably. It's competitively priced for a quick sale, a great opportunity.
