The Ponderosa 42 was built in the Chuing Hwa boatyard in Taiwan. Other models built in this yard are the CHB's. There are over 1500 CHB's and Ponderosa's on the West coast. The yard has the reputation of producing a strong well built hull with excellent fiberglass and woodwork.
This is a very traditional trawler design with a well appointed interior.
