The Chien Hwa Boatyard in Taiwan built thousands of boats during the 1980s under the brand names CHB, Puget Trawler, Ponderosa, North Sea and others. This one without teak on the foredeck or side decks and stored in a boathouse has held up very well. Teak decks are only found on the sundeck and this is protected under a complete enclosure. Vessel was hauled and bottom painted April 2014 with no blisters found. Hull was waxed at that time.

Broker's Comments
This Ponderosa 35 Sundeck Motor Yacht provides remarkably large living spaces for a 35 footer. With a well-designed and appointed flybridge and a huge aft sundeck with wicker furniture the boat has more space than some 40 footers. The current owners have kept the boat regularly maintained, upgraded items as appropriate, tastefully improved the interior and have kept it in a boathouse. If it had an updated electronics/navigation package it would lack nothing. If you might be considering a boat as a live-aboard or a pocket trawler with great fuel economy this would be a comfortable choice at a very affordable price.
