Seldom does such a vessel become available on the open market. This ship was sourced following a long global search by our client . She is only being sold , as the requirements for the contract have changed. Her hull is reportedly in excellent shape with barely any evidence of corrosion and her 10mm plating is reported as new. Her Generator sprung into life, as did her massive power plant at the turn of the key. She requires some very superficial maintenance attention to her deck equipment , such as a control panel, she has a trawl winch with 6 drums 2 capstans. An A frame over her stern allows for the heavy lift requirement. In addition she has a 19 Ton telescopic crane. A separate Lister Generator and a hugely reliable power plant, the favoured Mitsubishi 300 hp power plant, with very low hours, close to 54000, a mere 5% of her expected life. On her bridge a plethora of comms equipment and radar including a latest generation 4G compliant Plotter system including roll, pitch and yaw sensing. As is the norm she is helmed by joystick and this is coupled with a powerful hydraulic bow thruster. Below a single accommodation suite with 5 berths, giving into a full galley and adjacent heads and wet room . Aft access to the engine room is gained by a separate companionway to her engine room and a further aft storage, which could be converted. Her massive working deck is flat with bulwark gate and rear open platform. So much for her commercial pedigree, but she would make an ideal residential platform, and much of her equipment would be saleable allowing the purchaser a massive opportunity to convert her and this would be very easily achieved. Given her layout a three bedroomed residential boat could be achieved. In fact her bow thruster and lightly used engine means she could in fact be cruised very readily, her heavy sea performance is such she could be used for residential or commercial. Her master is prepared to deliver her, in UK waters and she can be lifted and surveyed at her current berth. So, if you are seeking a project for a residential conversion, potentially an expedition ship for a Dive Ship or simply a work platform then at the price our client has instructed us at, this ship is not only in apparently great condition where it matters but she is also a low low price for such a ship.
