Stepping on the swim step and through the transom door, you enter the cockpit. This area has a storage locker which may double as a seat and the propane locker under the ladder. A large lazarette locker is perfect for extra lines, power cords or miscellaneous items. The batteries for the stern thruster are located in this area.
Climb the ladder to the top deck for access to the Achilles dinghy, Nick Jackson electric arm davit and 6hp Yamaha outboard engine (which has never been used! It has had the oil changed each season but the owner prefers to stay in shape by rowing. Good on him!) The top deck has plenty of additional room for paddleboards or kayaks. If you wish to add solar panels, the top of the pilothouse seems like the perfect spot.
Entering the main cabin, the salon area is port with the galley starboard. The salon has a high-low table which expands to seat four comfortably. The L-shaped leather settee expands to sleep two and is in truly beautiful condition. The TV sits atop a hanging locker with a DVD player. Bose stereo speakers are located throughout the salon and pilothouse area. Heat throughout the boat is provided by two 120 VAC electric units (main stateroom and salon) and Espar diesel heat.
The galley has corian counter tops with a large undercounter sink in the corner. An undercounter freezer is on the aft wall, the fridge is opposite under the microwave. Large counters, Force 10 stove and oven, storage drawers and cabinets complete the galley. There is a set of pots and pans, a toaster, coffeemaker, a set of dishware, glassware and eating utensils for four all included. The galley is very well laid out for efficiency and can accommodate a sous chef, too! The windows throughout the galley and salon have United Shade Day/Night shades. Four of the windows open with screens for ventilation.
The main door and the pilothouse doors and windows have custom coverings for privacy and protection from the sun. The pilothouse is up three steps from the galley and salon. Leather Captain and Co-Captain seats are either side. Forward to port is a large chart table with a chart drawer. To starboard is the helm station with engine controls, navigation equipment, engine monitor, bow and stern thruster controls. Doors on both port and starboard lead to the side decks and forward to the bow. The windlass may be operated by electric up/down pedals on the bow or the remote at the helm.
A companionway from the pilothouse leads to the sleeping accommodations. Midship on the port is the guest cabin. A large single bunk with a book shelf above, drawers and nightstand and large hanging locker complete this cabin. Directly across the companionway is the head compartment with a fresh water vacu-flush toilet, separate shower, and sink, vanity and storage.
The main cabin is forward with a queen island berth with memory foam and pad topper for extra comfort. Drawer storage below the bed, hanging lockers on either side, book shelves, cabinets and reading lights make this cabin feel very cozy and inviting.
Once you have packed your clothes, planned your meals and stored a crab pot, you will be ready to enjoy a season full of cruising! Where will she take you?

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 100+ PHOTOS - FULL SPECS OF THIS 2007 NORDIC TUG 37 ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW.
Nordic Tugs are built in the Northwest for the Northwest. A Nordic Tug 37 is a sturdy, heavily-built pilothouse semi-displacement trawler with a full keel and protected rudder. The deep “V” entry and hard chine underbody produce a secure experience even in rough water. This example of a Nordic 37 will not disappoint.
The current owners are the second owners; they report that it was “like new” when they purchased it nine years ago and it currently hardly shows any wear.
The fit and finish is beautiful and the accommodations are well laid out.
If you are considering an American Tug, North Pacific or another Nordic Tug model, you will want to seriously consider this option!
