Broker's Comments
The Nelson 40 needs no introduction as the boat of choice for Pilots and the older style Nelsons are arguably the prettiest. Well appointed with good sized engines giving very capable performance in one of the most seaworthy hulls built.
This Nelson 40 is in great condition. Bought by its current owner 12 years ago she has undergone a full refit including a full rebuild of the engines. Since then all the necessary maintanance issues have been attended to.
Built in 1978 she was first in class of this class of boat built by Halmatic and she was displayed at the 1978 Boatshow as well as featuring in the Halmatic Brochure.
She has all the lovely features of a 1970's Nelson, sleek lines, the teak trim well varnished and the recently painted hull making her look like she really has been cared for.
